tuedsay tear jerker: up edition

spoiler alert, if you haven't seen up, no need to look any further (unless you don't care, of course).

i'm an emotional softie so it's no surprise i almost lost my shit when i saw this in the theater.

i'm talking lump in throat, tears streaming down my face, contemplating running to the bathroom and locking myself in a stall while i sobbed the hurt away. i still can't watch this without dabbing my eyes.

interestingly enough, i saw this with a predominantly adult audience. when this scene ended, most of the adults were sniffling and yet i recall hearing one kid ask their parent, "why are people crying?"

life kiddo, life.
